Kat Heckenbach Speaks at Bloomingdale Library

Author and BCW member Kat Heckenbach will be speaking at Bloomingdale Library about how she got her start writing and her journey to publication. She will also share about her Middle Grade fantasy novel, Finding Angel, which released September 2011 in print and ebook.

Voting for Your Favorite Christian Fiction

There are a number of fiction awards given each year. Many require books to be submitted by authors and publishers, and the books are judged by a panel of professionals.

But there are also a few readers' choice awards, and two of them are open for voting right now on books released during 2011:

One is the Family Fiction Magazine Awards contest. Just click HERE and enter the names of your favorite books and authors in the appropriate categories using their online form. Voting closes February 29th, 2012, so spread the word!

Another is the Grace Awards contest. A very short email is all it takes, and the judges will take the top choices and pick a winner. Visit HERE for complete rules, categories, and email template. Voting also closes February 29th, 2012.

And remember...there may be eligible books published this year by your fellow BCW members. Please check out our "Books by BCW Members" tab--there is still time to read and fall in love with one of ours before you vote!
