Bloomingdale Writers Connection
 Speakers’ Series

Judith Henry, writer, editor, owner of Wisdom Tree Legacies

Saturday, June 23.  Program runs 2 – 4:30 p.m.  Doors open 1:30 p.m.
Bloomingdale Regional Library, Community Room.
Free.  Sponsored by the Friends of Bloomingdale Regional Library.

When Judith launched her business, Wisdom Tree Legacies, last year it was personal. Her father had passed away a few years prior, and although in daily contact with him, she realized too late how little she really knew of his values, beliefs and personal history. Judith wants to help people avoid this loss in their own families.

She can coach you to write your own ethical will or legacy letter or she can assist through a guided conversation with you that is recorded and transcribed.  This Saturday afternoon program will give you a taster of what her service provides.

Through this process, she helps you define your values and beliefs so your family will know how and why you made your life choices.  This is also a way to share your hard-won wisdom, to honor the people who have helped you in life and allow you to offer hope and inspiration to future generations.

Refreshments will be available during the break.  We will close with a story circle; bring a two-page life story to share.  Only those with a story may stay for the circle.   Registration is required.  The quickest way to register is to email:  Lifewritersbloom@msn.com   You may also leave your name and contact information at the “Ask” kiosk at Bloomingdale Library and someone will be in touch to register you.
